Social Responsibility

With our understanding of corporate citizenship and our proactive point of view that develops efficiency-focused approaches, we undertake significant works in the area of social responsibility. Our work and the way we do business are shaped by this focus. In this way, by effectively putting our limited resources to good use we ensure the sustainibility of our respect for nature and environment through our efforts in this field.

We carry out important projects in the fields of education, health and environment, prioritizing the children. In order to create sustainable impacts with our works, we pay attention to the fact that the projects we support provide long-term and socially beneficial results. In our efforts to institutionalize social responsibility, we aim to produce sustained values within the sustainability approach.

Since the day we were established as Turkuaz Seramik, we have attached importance to the support activities of education within the scope of corporate social responsibility. In this direction, we ensure that village schools replace their toilets under the leadership of the Ministry of National Education and our young students are provided with healthier conditions. We provided 4000 pieces of sanitary group to Kayseri and its districts. We will continue this work in the coming period as well.

In terms of the environmental project we carried out, by putting in use the facility, which is the 2nd largest solar power plant in Kayseri and the 5th largest in Turkey, we obtain the energy we use from green energy as well as transferring the extra energy to the system. With the belief that every industrial enterprise must be in harmony with the world and nature in which it is located, we carry out the environmental protection measures meticulously by equipping all of our factory chimneys with filters that trap micron level particles.

Our company, which undertook important works in the field of health, built an oncology hospital in 2015 to be transferred to Erciyes University Hospital. The Nazende-Nuri Özkaya Oncology Day Treatment Unit, which will be providing services in Kayseri and surrounding provinces, serves approximately 70 patients per day.
